MonitorX is fully committed to the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa. We collect and process personal and system telemetry data only with explicit consent and for defined, transparent service purposes.
When registering an account or subscription, we collect name, corporate email address, contact number, and tenant company name. This information is used for account setup, billing communications, and two-factor authentication.
Telemetry data collected by the MonitorX agents (e.g. CPU loads, RAM stats, process lists, and API trace timestamps) is processed solely to generate real-time monitoring charts, dependency topologies, and AI root-cause analysis. MonitorX does not sell or distribute telemetry logs to third-party advertisers or aggregators.
Telemetry metrics and logs are retained according to your active plan details (ranging from 7 days for Core plans up to 180 days for Scale/Elite plans). Upon subscription termination or tenant deletion, all historical database entries and log files are permanently deleted within 14 business days.
Our console interface uses functional session cookies to verify authenticated sessions and maintain user security during interaction. No cross-site advertisement cookies are utilized.
